After a recent purchase of the Apex Officer VR police training simulator, The Moore Police Department became the first and only Oklahoma Agency to acquire a virtual reality system for training.

The department said that the technology will give them "limitless adaptability in scenarios, environments, and behaviors."

"Good judgement and sound decision-making have always been imperative in our line of work," the department wrote. "As technology advances, MPD is staying on the cutting edge of use-of-force simulators."
